Helen & Douglas House hospice improves the lives of local terminally ill children and their families living in Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. We are the world’s first children’s hospice and we provide one-to-one respite and end-of-life care at our hospice in Oxford as well as end of life care at home and in hospital. Our amazing care makes it possible for families to create happy memories which will last forever. We are a local charity and need to raise over £3m each year to fund care and we cannot do that without your help.

Losing a child is every parent’s worst nightmare. Most parents don’t think it could ever happen to them and they don’t know how they would cope if it did but when it does, we are here to help.

A stay at our hospice means our team takes care of medical and nursing needs so that parents have precious time to enjoy family life with their children sharing laughter and joy and creating happy family memories which will last forever. We help local terminally ill children live life to the full even when that life is short.
